An Orchestral Tribute to Motown

A spectacular live concert celebrating the music and enduring legacy of one of the most influential sounds in music history.

This production places Motown’s extraordinary music firmly centre stage. From the unmistakable voices to the irresistible rhythms, these original artists created something truly special. Rather than imitate them, we celebrate their timeless catalogue through exceptional live vocals, a world-class chamber orchestra and rich vocalists, honouring the soul behind every song.

At the heart of the concert is The Great British Concert Orchestra, an ensemble dedicated to presenting the music of history’s most influential artists in bold and imaginative new ways. Outstanding musicians and remarkable voices come together to honour the spirit of the original recordings while revealing new emotion and grandeur within every song.

Experience the soaring melodies, heartfelt harmonies and infectious grooves of artists including Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross & The Supremes, The Temptations and The Four Tops. From joyful dancefloor favourites to unforgettable love songs, this is music that continues to bring generations together.

An Orchestral Tribute to Motown invites fans old and new to experience this extraordinary catalogue as never before: performed live, beautifully reimagined and elevated by the unmistakable power of an orchestra.

Disclaimer: This independent concert production celebrates the music of Motown and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Motown Records, its associated companies, or any of the original artists, their estates or representatives.

Some of our concerts take place in stunning historic spaces such as cathedrals, minsters and abbeys. These beautiful buildings were not originally designed for modern amplified sound, so you may notice a more atmospheric sound, shaped by centuries-old stone and architecture which may differ slightly from a traditional theatre. What these spaces offer instead is an unforgettable atmosphere and the chance to enjoy live music in truly extraordinary surroundings - all while helping to support the preservation of these heritage landmarks.
