An Evening of Prince

XPERIENCE LIVE presents An Evening of Prince performed in a stunning setting at Buxton Opera House.

Thursday 25th March 2027 | Doors: 6:30pm | Show 7:30pm - 9:45pm | Last entry: 7:15pm

World-class vocalists. An incredible live band. A night of Prince.

Some music deserves more than another night on your playlist. Experience Prince’s biggest songs live, with exceptional performers bringing their own energy to a catalogue that still sounds ahead of its time.

From 1999, Kiss and Let’s Go Crazy to When Doves Cry, Raspberry Beret and the unforgettable Purple Rain, this is an evening packed with favourites. With Little Red Corvette, Cream, Diamonds and Pearls and The Most Beautiful Girl in the World in the mix, you’ll have plenty of reasons to sing along.

Expect soulful solos and a little late-night swagger. Set within stunning cathedrals and iconic spaces throughout the UK, this show brings an after-hours throwback feel to extraordinary surroundings. These are venues that make going out feel like an occasion.

There will only ever be one Prince. No imitations. No lookalikes. Just brilliant musicians with their own style, letting the music do the talking.

Whether Prince has been on your record shelf for decades or is on repeat in your headphones, An Evening of Prince is a remarkable night of live music in a setting worthy of the occasion. Bring someone who loves the music as much as you do. When Purple Rain fills a setting like this, you’ll want to be there.

An Evening of Prince is an independent live concert celebrating Prince’s music. Xperience Live is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by Prince’s estate or associated rights holders. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Some of our concerts take place in stunning historic spaces such as cathedrals, minsters and abbeys. These beautiful buildings were not originally designed for modern amplified sound, so you may notice a more atmospheric sound, shaped by centuries-old stone and architecture which may differ slightly from a traditional theatre. What these spaces offer instead is an unforgettable atmosphere and the chance to enjoy live music in truly extraordinary surroundings - all while helping to support the preservation of these heritage landmarks.
