A spectacular live concert celebrating the music and enduring legacy of one of the most iconic bands in rock history.

This production places Queen’s extraordinary music firmly centre stage. There will, after all, only ever be one Freddie Mercury, and we wouldn’t presume to imitate the inimitable. Instead, Queen’s timeless catalogue is given a fresh and spectacular concert treatment through exceptional live vocals, a world-class chamber orchestra and rich arrangements, honouring the enduring legacy behind every song.

At the heart of the concert is The Great British Concert Orchestra, an ensemble dedicated to presenting the music of history’s most influential artists in bold and imaginative new ways. Outstanding musicians and remarkable voices come together to honour the spirit of the original recordings while revealing new emotion and grandeur within every song.

Queen’s music continues to transcend generations, genres and eras. Its powerful storytelling, theatricality and messages of individuality and celebration still unite audiences around the world.

An Orchestral Tribute to Queen invites fans old and new to experience this extraordinary catalogue as never before: performed live, beautifully reimagined and elevated by the unmistakable power of an orchestra.

Disclaimer

Please be advised that this orchestral performance will include the use of bright flashing lights and Portman lighting effects. These may involve intense flashes, rapid light changes, and bright visual effects, which may be synchronised with the music.

In addition, there may be moments of heightened volume and dynamic contrast typical of a live orchestra.

These elements may not be suitable for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, sensory sensitivities, or those sensitive to loud sound levels. Viewer discretion is advised.

If you have any concerns or require assistance, please speak to a member of staff prior to the performance. Ear protection is recommended for those who may be sensitive to amplified sound.

Some of our concerts take place in stunning historic spaces such as cathedrals, minsters and abbeys. These beautiful buildings were not originally designed for modern amplified sound, so you may notice a more atmospheric sound, shaped by centuries-old stone and architecture which may differ slightly from a traditional theatre. What these spaces offer instead is an unforgettable atmosphere and the chance to enjoy live music in truly extraordinary surroundings - all while helping to support the preservation of these heritage landmarks.
